Description: This is the second video in the Organic Chemistry unit. I talk about the difference between the three homologous series of hydrocarbons: alkanes, alkenes, alkynes. Alkanes are comprised of all single bonds and are saturated hydrocarbons. Both alkenes and alkynes are saturated hydrocarbons. Alkenes contain a double bond between carbons, and Alkynes contain a triple bond between carbons.
