On this week’s show, The YP’s football writers Stuart Rayner and Leon Wobschall, join host Mark Singleton to discuss the latest issues surrounding the Yorkshire football scene.<br/><br/>They start at the New York Stadium and what needs to happen next at Rotherham United after relegation after just two seasons in the Championship was confirmed and how they avoid being a yo-yo club between the second and third tiers of the English game. <br/><br/>Sheffield United remain near-certainties to go straight back down to the Championship but it seems they are going down fighting, putting in a battling performance in a 3-1 defeat at Liverpool before snatching a point in a 2-2 draw with Chelsea. <br/><br/>Huddersfield took one step forward and two steps back, following up a 1-0 win over Millwall with a 4-1 hammering on the road at Preston – do they have what it takes to beat the drop? Likewise Sheffield Wednesday who fought back to grab a 2-2 draw against Norwich City following on from a 2-0 win over QPR – do they have what it takes to beat the drop?<br/><br/>And, at the other end of the Championship table, Leeds United fell to their first league defeat of 2024 at possibly the worse time, their chances of automatic promotion not helped much later in the week when they were held 0-0 at home by Sunderland. Santos Escobar and Bobby Lashley in a Triple Threat Match to advance to next week’s No.1 Contenders match<br/>Legado Del Fantasma interfered in the match, but The Street Profits took them out.<br/>Rey Mysterio said truth will come out on who attacked Dragon Lee.<br/><br/>– Paul Heyman said on the orders of Roman Reigns, The Bloodline will make no excuses. They do not blame John Cena, The Undertaker or Jey Uso. The Tribal Chief takes accountability of what happened in the main event of WrestleMania 40. Heyman said Roman was distracted by his lust for revenge on Seth Rollins and took his eyes off Cody Rhodes.<br/><br/>Solo Sikoa said there are consequences for losing and changes must be made. Heyman got worried and Solo turned his attention to Jimmy Uso. Solo hugged him and then someone attacked Jimmy from behind and it’s Haku’s son, NJPW Veteran Tama Tonga, making his WWE debut. Solo then delivered multiple Samoan Spikes to Jimmy.<br/>Heyman tired to call Roman, but Solo broke his phone. Solo then wrapped a steel chair around Jimmy’s neck and delivered a hip attack in the corner. It looks like Jimmy Uso is out of The Bloodline.<br/>Bron Breakker def. Cameron Grimes<br/><br/>– Tiffany Stratton interrupted WWE Women’s Champion Bayley’s promo. Tiffany said it was rude that she wasn’t given an opportunity to perform at WrestleMania 40. Tiffany said it looks like Bayley is about to issue an open challenge, so she accepts. Bayley said she wasn’t issuing an open challenge, but was about to name her first challenger and it’s Naomi. Tiffany said she already beat Naomi. Naomi said before she accepts Bayley’s challenge, she’s going to defeat clueless Tiffany, as she has earned everything she’s got in WWE.<br/>Paul Heyman came out of the trainer’s room after checking on Jimmy Uso and Tama Tonga arrived. He told Heyman that the attack on Jimmy was by order from The Tribal Chief. Then Solo Sikoa showed up, smiled at Heyman and left. A worried Heyman said what’s that supposed to mean? It looks like Solo Sikoa is trying to be the new Tribal Chief.<br/>Naomi def. Tiffany Stratton<br/><br/>Bayley will defend the WWE Women’s Title against Naomi on next week’s SmackDown.<br/><br/>– Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair def.
