I pitched this 2 years ago in class after filming the very colorful fashion film I made. This was the antithesis of it. I didn’t want to see color, I just wanted to feel it to be as dark as it can possibly be. Probably the darkness that I was feeling during 2020 I wanted it to be represented. This was created thinking already on how to work around some covid protocols, hence, the full face masks. This is not an ode to Kim or Kanye’s fashion choices, those happened a year after.
