To facilitate a comprehensive understanding, we have included accurate and eloquent translations in English and Urdu.<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 253 (Arabic Recitation): “ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا ٱقۡتَتَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَتۡهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتُ وَلَٰكِنِ ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ فَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ ءَامَنَ وَمِنۡهُم مَّن كَفَرَۚ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا ٱقۡتَتَلُواْ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَفۡعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 253 (English Translation): “ If Allāh had willed, those [generations] succeeding them would not have fought each other after the clear proofs had come to them. But they differed, and some of them believed and some of them disbelieved. And if Allāh had willed, they would not have fought each other, but Allāh does what He intends. ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 253 (Urdu Translation): “ اگر اللہ تعالیٰ چاہتا تو ان کے بعد والے اپنے پاس دلیلیں آجانے کے بعد ہرگز آپس میں لڑائی بھڑائی نہ کرتے، لیکن ان لوگوں نے اختلاف کیا، ان میں سے بعض تو مومن ہوئے اور بعض کافر، اور اگر اللہ تعالیٰ چاہتا تو یہ آپس میں نہ لڑتے، لیکن اللہ تعالیٰ جو چاہتا ہے کرتا ہے۔ ”<br/><br/>The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC).
