Doraemon, a cat robot from the 22nd century, is sent to help Nobita Nobi, a young boy, who scores poor grades and is frequently bullied by his two classmates, Takeshi Goda (nicknamed “Gian”) and Suneo Honekawa (Gian’s sidekick). Doraemon is sent to take care of Nobita by Sewashi Nobi, Nobita’s future grandson so that his descendants can improve their lives.<br/><br/>Doraemon has a four-dimensional pouch in which he stores unexpected gadgets that help improve his life. He has many gadgets, which he gets from The Future Departmental Store, such as Bamboo-Copter, a small piece of headgear that can allow its users to fly; Anywhere Door, a pink-colored door that allows people to travel according to the thoughts of the person who turns the knob; Time Kerchief, a handkerchief that can turn an object new or old or a person young or old; Translator Tool, a cuboid jelly that can allow people to converse in any language across the universe; Designer Camera, a camera that produces dresses; and many more.<br/><br/>Nobita’s closest friend and love interest are Shizuka Minamoto, who eventually becomes his wife in the future and has a child with him named Nobisuke Nobi (the same name as Nobita’s father).<br/><br/>Nobita is often bullied by Gian and Suneo, but they are shown to be friends in some episodes, especially the movies. In most episodes, a typical story consists of Nobita taking a gadget from Doraemon for his needs eventually causing more trouble than he was trying to solve.

The Baja 1000 is a Mexican desert race which takes place annually in the Baja California Peninsula. It’s the longest point to point off-road race in the world, that's run in a single day. Josh McGuckin, one of Tope's mechanics, explained how much of a challenge preparing for the race was for the team. He told FutureStudiosCars “Driving this car in the Baja 1000 can be summed up for me in one word, exhausting.” To an outsider the car would appear as just a “really old bugg” but once inside, “suddenly it just comes to life”. Starting with the VW Beetle was a huge undertaking for the team, as they had to modify the classic 1970 car to be suitable for the incredibly harsh conditions. However, the extreme nature of this race did take its toll on the well-loved vehicle, “every time you come back from a race, you’re constantly rebuilding and replacing everything”, Josh explained. The bugg may not be the fastest car, but it’s capable of doing the job for this team. And the teamwork paid off as Tope triumphantly reached the finish line. _antiques-roadshow-expert-restores-former-chapel-he-bought-for-60k.webp "An Antiques Roadshow expert has bought a former chapel for 60K to convert into a home and workshop - and is calling on others to ‘save these historic structures’.<br/><br/>Wayne Colquhoun, 60, bought Capel Salem in Corris in Wales - which still had a pulpit with a Bible in.<br/><br/>He says he fell in love with the 1868 romantic slate structure which had fallen into disrepair.<br/><br/>The Grade II listed chapel upkeep became too expensive for the diminishing congregation and was on the market in 2017. <br/><br/>Across Wales, chapels fall into the landscape through disrepair, demolition or ‘insensitive conversion’.<br/><br/>He bought the chapel for £60k, transforming the upper gallery into a three-bed apartment, adding floorboards covering half the gallery.<br/><br/>Wayne said: “When I bought it the bible was still on the pulpit, as though the congregation had walked out and closed the door.<br/><br/>“When people close the doors on old buildings- that’s the danger point.
